Paruppu Thuvayal Recipe

Ingredients:
• 1/2 Cup Toor Dal
• 1-2 Dried Red Chilies
• Salt to taste
• Oil

Method:

• Heat oil in a pan and fry the toor dal, until it becomes light golden brown in color.
• Dry roast the red chilies and keep it aside.
• Soak the fried dal in water for 15-20 minutes. The water should be just enough to cover the dal.
• Grind the soaked dal in a process, along with fried chilies with some salt to a thick paste.
• Paruppu thuvayal is ready. Serve it with Rasam or Dosa
