Sorakaya Pulusu Recipe




Ingredients:

• Sorakaya deskinned and cubed
• 2 chopped Onions
• Green Chillies
• 1 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
• pinch of Turmeric Powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil
• medium lemon sized Tarmarind
• 2 Cloves
• 1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste

Method:
• Soak the tamarind in water for about an hour. Extract the pulp and keep it aside.
• Grind cloves, cumin seeds, chopped onions to a paste.
• Heat oil in a pan. Add the onion paste,green chillies.
• Add ginger garlic paste • Add sorakaya, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix it.
• Add the tamarind pulp and boil till the sorakaya gets cooked.
• Garnish with coriander leaves and serve sorakaya pulusu with hot rice.
