Mundiri Kothu Recipe




Ingredients:

• 1 Cup GreenGram
• 1/4 Cup shredded Coconut
• 3/4 Cup Jaggery
• 3/4 Cup Rice
• pinch of salt
• pinch of turmeric powder

Method:
• Soak the rice in water for 30 mins.
• Fry the greengram in a hot pan for few minuts and grind it to coarse powder.
• Fry the shredded coconut for few minutes• Boil about 3/4 cup of water and dissolve the jaggery in it.
• Add the greengram powder, coconut and keep stirring to a consistency that you can make balls out of it. Allow it to cool• Grind the soaked rice with some salt, pinch of turmeric powder and water to a thick paste • Make balls of the sweet mixture, dip them in the rice paste n deep fry them.
• Mundiri Kothu is ready to serve. They can also be stored for few days.
