Hayagreeva Recipe




Ingredients:

• 2 Cups Jaggery
• 1 Cup Channa Dal
• Ghee
• 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Powder
• 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
• 3 tbsp grated Coconut
• roasted Cashewnuts, Almonds, Raisins

Method:
• Heat ghee in a pan and roast the coconut. Kepp it aside.
• Dry roast Channa Dal and pressure cook it with little water.
• Boil 1/4 Cup of water. Dissolve the jaggery.
• Reduce to medium heat. Add cooked channa dal.
• Keep stirring until the moisture is almost absorbed completely.
• Reduce the heat and add the coconut, cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, ghee, and nuts.
• Hayagreeva is ready to serve.
