Rava Puttu Recipe

Ingredients:
• 1 Cup Rava
• 1 1/2 Cup Milk
• 2 Cups Sugar
• Shredded Coconut (optional)
• 3/4 Cup Ghee
• 4 pods elaichi (powdered)
• 1/4 tsp Salt

Method:

• In a hot pan, dry roast rava. Ensure that it does not turn colour.
• Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
• Mix the salt well and steam the mixture for 5 minutes.
• Add the milk. Steam and cook it.
• Add the sugar, ghee and elaichi powder. Keep mixing.
• Once cooled, the mixture would seperate into little lumps.
• Garish with shredded coconut and Rangoon Puttu is ready to eat.
