Pathiri Recipe




Ingredients:

• 1 Cup Rice flour
• 1 Cup Water
• Salt to taste
• 1 Cup grated coconut
• 2 small onions

Method:
• Grind the coconut and onions. Extract the milk, add salt and keep it aside.
• Dry roast the rice flour.
• Boil the water. Add salt.
• Add the rice flour slowly, stirring continuously.
• Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
• Knead it to a dough when it is warm.
• Make medium sized balls and using the roller pin flatten the balls to a thin round pathiri.
• On medium heat, Place the pathiri in a pan and cook it. Turn it and cook other side of the pathiri. Pathiris would puff up. Ensure that it doesnt change colour.
• Dip the pathiris in the coconut milk and serve.
• Pathiri is ready to serve with Chicken Curry or Mutton Curry or Beef Curry.
