Pori Upma Recipe




Ingredients:

• 150 gms Pori(Puffed Rice) 
• 2 Onions finely chopped 
• Mustard seeds 
• Urad Dal 
• Green Chillies 
• few coriander leaves finely chopped 
• Salt to taste 
• Oil 
• Pinch of Turmeric powder
• few tbsp Ground Roasted Split chick peas

Method:
• Soak the Pori in water, take it out immediately and squeeze the water out.
• Heat a pan, add oil and mustard seed. When it starts popping, add urad dhal and allow it to turn red. Add the green chillies• Add onions and allow it to turn transparent. Add turmeric powder• Add the Pori, Salt and the Roasted Split chick peas powder. Mix well and Garnish it with coriander leaves. Pori Upma is ready to serve.
