Meen Kuzhambu Recipe


Ingredients:

• 1 Cup shredded Coconut
• 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
• 1 Onion
• 1 Tomato
• lemon sized Tamarind
• 3 tbsp Sambar Powder
• Mustard seeds
• few Curry leaves
• Methi seeds
• Oil
• Salt to taste
• Fish pieces

Method:
• Grind coconut, cumin seeds, onion, tomato, tamarind, sambar powder with little water to a fine paste.
• Heat Oil in a pan. Add Mustard seeds. When they splutter add curry leaves, methi seeds, the coconut paste and salt.
• Leave it to boil. Reduce it to medium flame add the fish pieces.
• Cover and cook for about 30 to 45 minutes.
• Meen Kuzhambu is ready to serve with hot rice.
