Thakkali Sadam Recipe

Ingredients:
• 2 Cups cooked Rice
• 5 to 6 Tomatoes chopped
• 2 Onions sliced
• 6 to 8 Green chilies slit
• 1 tsp Chilly Powder
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
• 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
• 4 Cloves
• 1 1 in piece Cinnamon
• 3 Cardamoms
• Oil

Method:

• Heat Oil in a pan, add cloves, cinnamon, cardamom.
• Add ginger garlic paste, add green chilies and onions.
• Fry till onion turns light brown. Add tomato pieces to it.
• Now add salt, chilly powder and turmeric powder.
• Add little water and cook it in medium flame till the oil seperates out.
• Add the cooked rice and mix well. Thakkali sadam is ready to serve with Thayir Pachadi or Potato Curry or Appalams/Pappadams or Boiled egg. |
