Peanut Chutney Recipe


Ingredients:

• 1 cup de-skinned and roasted Peanuts
• 1 small Onion sliced
• 3 dry Red Chillis
• small lemon sized Tamarind
• 3 Garlic pods crushed
• Salt to taste
• 3/4 cup Water
• Oil
For Tempering:
• Mustard seeds
• Urad Dal
• few Curry leaves
• Oil

Method:
• Heat Oil in a pan, Add the garlic and dry red chillis and stir fry for a few seconds.
• Add the onions and fry till it gets transluscent • Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
• Once cooled, grind them with the roasted peanuts, tamarind, salt with half a cup of water to a nice paste.
• Heat oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds. When they splutter add urad dal and curry leaves.
• Pour them over the paste and Peanut chutney is ready to serve with Dosa, Idli, Paniyaram.
